Grantchester Group Announces Additional Investment in Maxwell Technologies

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – May 8, 2025 – Grantchester Group, a leading global private equity firm, announced the successful completion in April, of a follow-on financing for Maxwell Technologies, a leading developer of ultracapacitor-based power solutions. Grantchester Group initially invested in Maxwell/UCAP in January 2021 as the lead and majority investor. The additional investment capital will further strengthen Maxwell/UCAP’s position as a leader in the ultracapacitor sector.
