Least Popular of the European Union’s Climate Policies
A new survey has found that Europeans are not fond of the climate policies that their gasoline and diesel-powered cars could soon be banned.
The survey was conducted among 15,000 people residing in countries including Germany, France, and Poland.
The survey found that the ban on internal combustion engine cars is the least popular of the European Union’s climate policies.
The European Parliament voted in favor of the climate policies, including a 2035 ban on sales of new internal combustion engine cars in February 2023.
The government’ right-sided party is expected to win big in the June European parliament elections. This government change could provide an opportunity for the ban subjected to a review.
